About the Role
Would you like an opportunity to step into the world of ground-breaking visual effects and utilize your skillset to help create powerful VFX?
Our client is a feature film visual effects company based in Germany, known for being the first to use The Foundry's Nuke as the primary compositing application. In addition to Nuke, the company uses also Silhouette and Mocha for rotoscoping and paint work. 3D packages that are used in the projects are SideFX Houdini and Autodesk Maya, with Mantra for rendering.
Responsibilities
Design and create tools for artists using Python and PySide/PyQt
Automate workflows with Python in 3dequalizer
Design new workflows in collaboration with the Head of 3D
Support users and debug their problems
Requirements
Requirements
3+ years of experience in the VFX industry
Good knowledge of Python
Good knowledge of PySide/PyQt
Good knowledge of 3dequalizer
Good knowledge of Maya
Understanding of lens and camera workflows in a VFX environment
Experience with web development (React, FastAPI) - nice to have
Experience with unit testing and TDD - nice to have
Language
English – Fluent in Speaking and Writing
