About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a leadership background to join Softwareact.
As a Tech Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of data engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will be responsible for creating scalable data pipelines, implementing data security protocols, and ensuring that our data is accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities
Leading the development of our data architecture, including designing and maintaining our data pipeline infrastructure
Developing and implementing data security protocols
Managing and mentoring a team of data engineers
Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to design and implement data models and algorithms
Ensuring data quality and accuracy through monitoring, testing, and maintenance
Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
7+ years of experience as a data engineer
Experience with data pipeline tools such as Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi, or Apache Spark
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Strong knowledge of Python.
Experience in managing teams - strong leadership and project management skills
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Language
English – Fluent in Speaking and Writing
