About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join Softwareact. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our data infrastructure, designing data models, and ensuring the smooth flow of data throughout the organization. You will work closely with our data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to build scalable and reliable data pipelines.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain our data infrastructure, including data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and data lakes.
Design and implement data models that are scalable, reliable, and performant.
Build data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform large volumes of data from various sources.
Optimize data pipelines for speed, reliability, and efficiency.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure data is accessible, accurate, and usable.
Work with the team to design and develop real-time data processing solutions.
Develop and implement data governance and security policies to ensure data is protected and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering.
Strong experience with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
Strong experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Strong experience with data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing.
Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
