About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled IT Project Manager, fluent in German, to join our team at Softwareact. As an IT Project Manager, you will oversee multiple projects and ensure their timely and successful completion within budget while meeting the requirements of all stakeholders. Your experience in managing IT projects will be critical to your success in this role, and your fluency in German will be necessary to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead IT projects from beginning to end, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including development teams, business analysts, and product owners, to define project requirements and scope.

  • Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.

  • Monitor project progress, identify and manage risks, and take corrective action as necessary to keep projects on track.

  • Communicate project status to all stakeholders, including senior management, regularly.

  • Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and reporting on variances.

  • Ensure that projects are delivered in compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead the implementation of best practices.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, ensuring that they deliver to the required standards.

  • Mentor and coach project team members to build their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience managing IT projects, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Great project management skills including the ability to create and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or AgilePM.

Language

  • English – Fluent in Speaking and Writing

  • German – Fluent in Speaking and Writing
