About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Head of AI and Digital Engineering to lead our organization's digital transformation efforts. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in AI and machine learning, as well as a strong understanding of digital engineering practices and tools. In addition, the candidate should have excellent client-facing skills with the ability to lead and drive customer meetings and events. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI and digital solutions to solve complex business problems.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement the organization's AI and digital engineering strategy, in alignment with the overall business strategy.
Lead the design and development of innovative AI and machine learning models to solve complex business problems, leveraging cloud-based solutions and other digital tools.
Drive the adoption of digital engineering practices and tools, including agile software development, DevOps, and continuous integration and delivery.
Manage and mentor a team of AI and digital engineering professionals, providing technical guidance and leadership to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business leaders, to identify and prioritize opportunities for AI and digital solutions.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in AI, machine learning, and digital engineering, and incorporate them into the organization's strategy and operations.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, presenting complex technical concepts in clear and understandable terms.
Work closely with clients to understand their business challenges and develop customized AI and digital solutions to address them.
Conduct whiteboarding sessions and presentations to communicate technical concepts and solutions to clients and stakeholders.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences as a subject matter expert and speaker, driving awareness and thought leadership in the AI and digital engineering space.
Be willing to travel to client sites to lead and facilitate meetings, presentations, and workshops, and to build strong relationships with clients.
Requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in AI and machine learning, with a track record of successfully developing and deploying complex models in production environments.
5+ years of experience in digital engineering, with a strong understanding of agile software development, DevOps, and cloud-based solutions
Experience managing and leading teams of AI and digital engineering professionals, with a proven ability to mentor and develop technical talent.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on driving results and delivering business value.
Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to lead and drive customer meetings and events, including the ability to conduct whiteboarding sessions and presentations.
Willingness to travel to client sites to build strong relationships with clients and represent the company at industry events and conferences.
A passion for innovation and continuous learning, with a strong desire to stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in AI and digital engineering.
